Happy Turkey Boy!

Day....I mean Happy Turkey Day....

This is the second annual Thanksgiving trip to retrieve baby goats for Farmer Ron. I hope this is a new tradition: it's easier to stack kids in the truck than a couple of pies or casseroles!

Oh Where Oh Where Can She Be?

It's been a busy fall and I realize that is a ridiculous, if not unacceptable, excuse for a blogger--which I don't consider myself--but that's the best I can do.

Still trying to close on our new farmette (through no fault of ours), Mr. H and I have been slowly planning for a move and helping our current landlord--M--get ready for new tenants. No real boxes packed to speak of: we like to work under pressure. I'm also protesting a wee bit. While I love the new place, I adore the location of our rental farm and our neighbors and friends we've met in this area. You just can't beat Spring Green!

A very nice distraction arrived with our first day of snow, and otherwise bad conditions, for the year: my bff. A quick vacation for us both before I headed out of town to teach for a few days and for Seneca to catch a severely delayed flight home (24 hours late!) which included mechanical failures and a gentlemen who decided to have a stroke during beverage service, while sitting next to her...I don't think she's that boring. I mean, I wouldn't have pretended to stroke out just to get her to quit talking. Geez...
